About the Owner
John is a self-proclaimed tree nerd — and proud of it. With years of experience as an ISA Certified Arborist in the Houston area, John has seen firsthand how our climate and environment create unique challenges for the trees we live and work around. From intense heat and drought to tropical storms and flooding, Houston’s trees face a lot — and so do the homeowners and properties that depend on them.
John’s approach is simple: Treat every tree like a patient. Just like a doctor doesn’t immediately recommend surgery, I don’t immediately recommend removal. He believes in diagnosing the problem, understanding the cause, and finding the best long-term solution. Honestly, the challenge makes it more interesting.
At Horizon Arbor Solutions, we believe trees and people can coexist — even in a growing city like Houston. Green space matters. Trees matter. And protecting both your property and the living landscape around it is exactly what drives us every day.
